“Fear the Walking Dead” Renewed For Season 3

AMC has officially announced that Fear the Walking Dead has been renewed for a third season. The spin-off of wildly successful The Walking Dead will return in 2017 for a 16-episode season. Its live aftershow, Talking Dead: Fear, has also been renewed. Chris Hardwick hosts the aftershow, just like TWD’s aftershow Talking Dead.

The Walking Dead, about a group of people surviving in a post-zombie-apocalypse in Georgia, premiered in 2010 and was well received by critics and audiences alike. AMC quickly greenlit a spin-off, Fear the Walking Dead, in 2015, this time with a group of survivors set in Los Angeles.

While Fear the Walking Dead hasn’t been as well received critically as TWD, audiences clearly haven’t had their fill of walkers and survivors. So here’s to more guns, boats, and dysfunctional families in 2017.
