“Wonder Woman” Gets Early Release Date

While Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice got slammed by critics, many agreed that Wonder Woman, battling in her iconic armor with some intense rock background music, stole the show. It seems that Warner Bros. took notice.

The studio just announced that Gal Gadot’s standalone film, Wonder Woman, has been moved to an earlier release date – from June 23, 2017 to June 2, 2017. This is surely good news for those clamoring for more Wonder Woman and a positive vote for Gal Gadot's portrayal of the famous superhero.

Warner Bros. also announced that Jungle Book: Origins (not the one coming out this month) will hit theaters later than expected. Instead of being released on October 6, 2017, the Andy Serkis directed film won’t hit theaters until October 19, 2018.

In the meantime, fans of Diana Prince can bump up their countdown clocks by a few weeks.
