John Carpenter’s “Halloween” Returns to Theaters

Michael Myers is returning to theaters 40 years after first scaring audiences. The original Halloween will be released on over 1,000 screens in more than 20 countries around the globe. Audiences will be treated to big screen presentations of the restored and remastered digital print.

In honor of the movie’s 40th anniversary, CineLife Entertainment, Compass International Pictures and Trances International Films have teamed up to bring John Carpenter’s seminal 1978 classic back to select theaters, beginning September 27, 2018.

“I’m thrilled to have the original make its way back into theatres, as we prepare for the release of the sequel. Having both back in theatres this fall is remarkable,” said director John Carpenter.
