Amazon’s Mrs. Maisel Returns With an Entrance

Amazon’s The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel is ready to burst back on to our screens, this time with a post-awards season glow. Rachel Brosnahan is now Golden Globe winner Rachel Brosnahan, playing our titular Mrs. Maisel. In addition, the show won a Golden Globe for Best Television Series - Musical or Comedy and garnered 14 Emmy nominations, including Outstanding Comedy Series.

In the first season of the breakout hit, Midge Maisel saw her perfect Upper West Side life crumble around her, but discovered a secret talent for stand-up comedy. Determined to make it as a comic, she enlists the help of bartender-turned-manager Susie Myerson (Alex Bernstein) while contending with her well-meaning if controlling parents.

In the second season, it looks like Midge is still traveling full throttle at becoming a stand-up comic while juggling her UWS life, escaping to the Catskills and dealing with her ex and parents. Set to Judy Garland’s “Get Happy”, see the trailer below and keep an eye out for the new season later this year, exclusively on Amazon Prime Video.
