A detective with a mustache tracks a mysterious young woman in the 1980s. No, this isn’t Stranger Things, it’s Netflix’s new psychological thriller, In the Shadow of the Moon.
The trailer makes clear that this isn’t your typical detective-tracks-down-a-killer show. Diving right into the gruesome crime scenes, we learn that there’s a serial killer on the loose who mysteriously resurfaces every nine years.
