Truth be told, I haven’t seen the first Planes, which chronicled crop-dusting plane Dusty Crophopper’s quest to overcome his fear of heights and become a world-renowned aerial racer. In the follow-up, Planes: Fire & Rescue, Dusty’s gearbox malfunctions, and he may no longer be able to race at all. In the face of a career change and to help a friend out, Dusty enters the world of aerial firefighting by joining veteran fire and rescue helicopter Blade Runner and his team known as The Smokejumpers.

Disney Set to Release 'Frozen' in Sing-Along Format

After an overwhelming positive reaction from fans for its catchy original songs Walt Disney Pictures has opted to enhance their Golden Globe winner and Oscar nominated blockbuster Frozen by offering viewers an all-new-sing-along experience.

Releasing in 1,000 theaters nationwide beginning January 31st.  The new set will include lyrics and a bouncing snowflake during certain scenes, inviting fans to sign along as their favorite characters belt out future Disney classics.

Walt Disney Pictures has just released a new featuette detailing the music from their upcoming film, the Tom Hanks/Emma Thompson starrer Saving Mr. Banks.  

The film, which shows the untold story of how P.L. Travers’ classic Mary Poppins came to the big screen, is full of life, love, magic and wonderful music.  So take a moment and travel back in time to see just how the famed story of a super nanny survived the test of time and still stands as one of the most popular musicals ever to hit the big screen.

'Star Wars: Episode VII' Gets a Release Date

Though rumors have been swiring since pre-production officially began on the seventh installment of the popular 'Star Wars' franchise, Walt Disney has now made it official: LucasFilm's highly anticipated film will hit theaters on December 18, 2015.

"We’re very excited to share the official 2015 release date for Star Wars: Episode VII, where it will not only anchor the popular holiday filmgoing season but also ensure our extraordinary filmmaking team has the time needed to deliver a sensational picture,” said Alan Horn, chairman of The Walt Disney Studios.

This past summer audiences were treated to a fascinating short before Disney/Pixar's Monsters University.  The much hyped segment, interestingly titled The Blue Umbrella, took place on a rainy day when two umbrellas work to defy the odds (and weather) to end up together, forever!

With Monsters University set to hit store shelves on October 29th, Walt Disney and PIxar Animation have released a string of concept art that was used to help craft the heartwarming tale.  Check it out!

Clip: Monsters University - It All Begins Here

Walt Disney Pictures and Pixar Studios are about to unleash Monsters University, the sequel to their hugely popular 2001 hit Monsters Inc.  The film, which hits thetaers next month, has gotten a lot of pre-release buzz as the entire cast returns, along with some noteably newbies, to shed light on how Mike and Sulley met during school.
