Over the last several years, Austin native Matthew McConaughey has established himself as a credible source for romantic laughs. Killer good looks, a free-spirited personality and his southern charm attract moviegoers right and left - well the female ones anyway. However, to be kind, most of the films in question could be categorized as decent at best features with cheesy and over-the-top premises that are highly unlikely in real life.
