‘Chuck’ has to seriously be one of the most original series on TV today. I admittedly wasn’t on the bandwagon from the start… I never participated in the “Save Chuck” campaign, I didn’t get hyped for the 3D episode in Season 2, and I didn’t know who Zachary Levi was. However, after catching a single episode of Season 3 on NBC last year, I knew that I had to get in on this show. I’ve now seen every episode, and I think it’s an absolutely brilliant series.

I feel sorry for any R-rated romantic comedy that is released within the next year, because they will all be compared to the summer blockbuster Knocked Up, and unfortunately Good Luck Chuck is not even in the same ballpark.

Held back by a PG-13 rated script, bad casting, and ever worse acting Good Luck Chuck causes a few chuckles, but falls way short of both expectations and potential.
