Ever since Superbad, I have always looked forward to the next Michael Cera film. While he tends to play the same awkward yet funny leading male role, he always manages to steal your heart and deliver such simple lines that will have you chuckling long after the scene has changed. Needless to say, Youth in Revolt is no exception. From the cast, crazy storyline, and the adorable Michael Cera, this movie is a definite must-see.

Paper Heart

score:
B
Director:
Nicholas Jasenovec
Cast:
Charlyne Yi, Michael Cera, Jake Johnson
Running Time:
89
Rated:
PG-13
Author(s):
When you decide to split the story of a film into segments of fact and fiction, there is always the risk of confusing your audience. However, unlike other films before it, Paper Heart deals with the situation very delicately, using real interviews to merely personify and compliment the main scripted story. As a result, audiences are sent on a fun and intellectual ride through the heart of our country. Its mission: to discover exactly what love is.
