Preview Oz: The Great and Powerful Super Bowl Spot

This Sunday, during one of the most watched programs of the year, Disney will unleash a peak at their upcoming film Oz: The Great and Powerful starring James Franco, Mila Kunis, Rachel Weisz, MIchelle Williams, and Bruce Campbell.  But fans of the film can get a short look at the new TV spot now via the video above as Disney works to build hype over director Sam Raimi's highly anticipated fantasy.

 

2D or not 2D

This may make me sound old, but I’ll risk it. Remember when you could go to the movies and there was just one version of the film?  Things have changed drastically since then – you can thank James Cameron and his Avatar, which single-handedly brought about the 3D revolution. While his film did look amazing in 3D, like fire from the gods, the technology would soon be abused.

Christopher Nolan’s Inception uses visual effects in remarkable, breathtaking form that is only enhanced by seeing it on an IMAX screen. Now, I don’t think I could watch it any other way.
