Hollywoodnews.com is reporting that Al Pacino will play famously coiffed music producer and convicted murderer, Phil Spector in a yet unnamed HBO Original film.

Law Abiding Citizen

Cast:
Gerard Butler, Jamie Foxx, Bruce McGill, Leslie Bibb, Colm Meaney
Running Time:
108
Rated:

Author(s):
Imagine yourself helplessly looking on as the ones you love are brutally murdered; for Clyde Shelton, that was reality. Gagged and bound during a home invasion, Shelton looked on as both his wife and daughter were brutally raped and murdered. When the guys were caught, he was relieved that justice would finally be served. However, Nick Rice was assigned the case, and with the majority of his decisions being made to keep his conviction percentage high, he struck a deal with one of the murderers in order to ensure the other would go straight to death row.

Role Models

score:

Director:
David Wain
Cast:
Seann William Scott, Paul Rudd, Elizabeth Banks, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Jane Lynch
Running Time:
95
Rated:
R
Over the last few years, Paul Rudd has continued to grow as both an actor and comedian. In fact, two years ago, his most recognizable role had been opposite Alicia Silverstone in 1995's Clueless. But now, after a stint of successful parts and the help of Judd Apatow, Rudd has blossomed into a go-to actor for off-the-wall comedy, and a perfect fit for David Wain's Role Models.

Death Race

score:
B
Director:
Paul W.S. Anderson
Cast:
Jason Statham, Joan Allen, Tyrese Gibson, Ian McShane, Natalie Martinex
Running Time:
89
Rated:
R
To say that Jason Statham is a bonafied action star would be a huge overstatement. Sure the man has produced hits with Transporter, Italian Job and Bank Job, but the bulked actor has also produced some major garbage in Transporter 2, Crank and In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale. Thankfully, this film is not the sequel to either Transporter 2 or Crank – both of which can be expected within the next twelve months.
