Interview: Phil Lord, Chris Miller: 21 Jump Street

Phil Lord and Chris Miller are a dynamic directing duo who are boldly transitioning from animation to live action with Sony Pictures' remake of the popular 80s television show 21 Jump Street.  We got to sit down with the pair before the film's premiere to discuss the comedy, the art of improvisation, and what all got left on the cutting room floor.

The film screened at the 2012 SXSW Film Festival where we were granted a spot on the red carpet to speak to the likes of Aubrey Plaza, Mark Duplass, Jake Johnson and others about the film, its 'hipster' appeal, and just how much fun they had on set.

Morgan Spurlock has a knack for created memorable documentaries focused on a wide array of subjects. His newest project is COMIC-CON EPISODE IV: A FAN'S HOPE, a detailed look into the craziness that is Comic-Con. We were able to sit down with Spurlock and one of his subjects, costume-designer Holly Conrad, as they unveiled details about the film and their experiences with a camera crew at the overly crowded convention.

Marvel Sets Date for Captain America Sequel

Marvel has officially announced that the sequel to the blockbuster Captain American: First Avenger will hit theaters on April 4, 2014.  Star Chris Evans will return and the film is said to pick up right where The Avengers, which is due out May 4, 2012, leaves off.

New Clip from Fox Searchlight's 'Shame'

There has been a lot of talk about Steve McQueen's sex-thriller Shame.  Michael Fassbender earned a Golden Globe nomination for his performances as a sex-addicted New York executive who is forced to confront his addiction when his sister springs a visit to his high-rise plat.  The film is due out on Blu-Ray/DVD Combo Pack on April 17, 2012.  To hold you over Fox Searchlight has released a clip from one of the pacages most interesting special features - "The Story ofShame".

Trailer: Trishna

Freida Pinto stars in IFC Films' Trishna, a film that tells of a girl's love for a man whose family threatens their eternal bliss.  Set in a village in Rajasthan, India's largest state, the film provides a unique look at the tension that exists between ancient privilege and modern equality.  Director Michael Winterbottom captures the beauty and essence of the situation, bringing forth a story that showcases beauty in its most natural form.

Red Carpet: The Raid: Redemption: SXSW Film Festival 2012

Pitting a group of elite cops against the city's ultimate crime lord is nothing new.  Throw in a 30 story building and the non-stop presence of high stakes martial arts action and The Raid: Redemption becomes quite unique.  At its recent showing at the SXSW Film Festival we got a spot on the red carpet where we learned about the film, as well as the potential for a well-earned sequel.
