Warner Bros. Preps 'Extremely Loud & Incredible Close' for Home Market

Warner Bros. has staked its claim on the March 27, 2012 release date with its Oscar nominated post 9/11 tear-jerker Extremely Loud & Incredible Close, arriving on DVD/Blu-Ray combo pack.

A surprise nominee for a Best Picture Oscar, Extremely Loud & Incredible Close has racked-up an impressive haul at the box-office, accumulating more that $30 million domestically since its limited release in December.

The film tells the story of a young boy, Oskar, who is still working to overcome the death of his father in the attack on the World Trade Centers.  After discovering a key in his father's closet, Oskar believes that a message has been left for him somewhere in the city.  After careful planning he sets out to uncover the last piece of his father left to claim, meeting a slew of interesting figures along his journey.

Extremely Loud & Incredible Close stars Tom Hanks, Sandra Bullock, Thomas Horn, and Max von Sydow.  It is currently available for pre-order at Amazon.com and all other national retailers.
