Fox Searchlight's 'Shame' Debuts on Blu-Ray/DVD April 17
Fox Searchlight has just announced that on April 17th it will release its highly controversial film Shame on Blu-Ray combo pack. The film, directed by Steve McQueen and bearing the unsightly NC-17 rating, has garnered a better-than-expected $10.6 million in worldwide box-office receipts. For those of you not wishing to be seen in public viewing the story centered around a New York professional who lives a life of sex addiction, you can now see what everyone is talking about in the comfort of your own home.
The film stars Michael Fassbender as a New Yorker who refuses to partake in intimate sex but constantly enjoys random connections. When his sister (Carey Mulligan) comes to town for a few weeks, his entire life is turned upside down as he attempts to shuffle his life to please all those involved.
