Columbia Enters Facebook Rental Market
Starting today, Latin American independent studio Talleres Uchawi is partnering with Facebook to provide exclusive rental opportunities for their film Lecciones Para un Beso (Lessons on How to Kiss). Costing a mere dollar to view, the film marks the first time a Colombian film has been available via the global social media site.
Lecciones Para un Beso is a romantic comedy from young Colombian director Juan Pablo Bustamante. The film premiered in Bustamante's native country of Colombia where it has broken box office records.
While the film might be set half a world away, the story is as universal as ever. The film follows a young boy who is forced to move when his mother opts to open a restaurant in another city. It is there that he meets and falls in love for the first time. Yearning for a kiss, but unfortunately inexperienced in the art, he enlists help from three of his mother's clients. The men accept his request, silently making a bet amongst themselves as to which of their advice will lead to the ultimate lip-lock.
The film is available exclusively through the film's facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/LPUBeso, so check it out and enjoy the movie.
