Fox Searchlight's 'Shame' Debuts on Blu-Ray/DVD April 17

Fox Searchlight has just announced that on April 17th it will release its highly controversial film Shame on Blu-Ray combo pack.  The film, directed by Steve McQueen and bearing the unsightly NC-17 rating, has garnered a better-than-expected $10.6 million in worldwide box-office receipts.  For those of you not wishing to be seen in public viewing the story centered around a New York professional who lives a life of sex addiction, you can now see what everyone is talking about in the comfort of your own home.

Columbia Enters Facebook Rental Market

Starting today, Latin American independent studio Talleres Uchawi is partnering with Facebook to provide exclusive rental opportunities for their film Lecciones Para un Beso (Lessons on How to Kiss).  Costing a mere dollar to view, the film marks the first time a Colombian film has been available via the global social media site.
