Author Bios - Shayne Lechelt

I’m just another film school nerd whose massive movie collection made up for a serious lack of relationships, romantic and friendly alike.  In the past, I was slightly OCD, a tad agoraphobic, and if you’d asked me to carry on a conversation, I’d have run the other way.  But movies and television have always given me a common ground.  I can speak for hours about the brilliance of the work of Edgar Wright.  I will argue the merits of Michael Bay’s filmography, knowing full well he’s an explosion-obsessed d-bag.  I’ll explain how fantastically meta the final episode of Seinfeld is and have you begging for forgiveness for ever doubting it.  My neurotic qualities have given me a keen eye when it comes to film and I nurtured that into a totally healthy obsession.
