Author Bios - Rebecca Tafline

I joined the CollegeMovieReview.com team in the summer of 2011, contributing as a critic and feature writer.  Through my experiences I have been able to attend the prestigious Sundance Film Festival and had the opportunity to brush shoulders with the likes of Roland Emmerich, Jesse Eisenberg, Anne Heche, and Lizzy Caplain.

I currently contribute from the always amazing Austin, TX where I sing in a band, host a Geeks Who Drink pub quiz, write for and act in a budding web series comedy, and spend the remainder of her time trying to figure out how to successfully live in Quentin Tarantino’s closet undetected.

I am among the nerdiest of the film nerds and knows there is a big difference between “favorite” and “best”. For example, my favorite movie of all time is American Beauty. The best movie of all time is Apocalypse Now. See how that’s done?
