The Usual Suspects
I’ve seen Bryan Singer's incredible film before, yet unlike other films of its kind, this one never seems to get old.
Starring Oscar winners Kevin Spacey and Benicio Del Toro, The Usual Suspects dons one of the most impressive ensembles to ever hit the big screen. Now released in a cool Blu-Ray collector's edition book, there is no reason to experience this mind-blowing story first hand.
Originally released back in 1995, The Usual Suspects continues to be relevant over the years, largely because of its uniquely clever story. Starting with a lineup that no cop would ever let happen, the film kicks it into high gear, demanding your attention from the get go. It is here that we are introduced to the leading characters who take us through this incredibly twisted and complex story, making this film a must see. The ending is one of the most unexpected and mind boggling to ever reach the theater, and no matter how many times I see the now famous central mystery, the ending is still as impressive as ever.
To be sure, this crime mystery/thriller isn't for the casual viewer. It demands the audience's attention and requires viewers to look for clues. For any true movie fan it is a diamond in the rough, worthy of its reputation for being one of the most complete and irresistible films ever made!
